WHAT IS CORE • OLOGY?

COREOLOGY incorporates The Lagree Fitness™ Method, the most innovative approach to full body conditioning. This cardio-strength infused workout is performed on an exclusive technology called The MegaFormer™ and every move on this machine is done at the highest intensity, but is low impact and does not cause harm on your body’s muscles and joints.

Expect 50-minutes of slow-controlled movements, fast transitions, and effective intensity; it will be one of the hardest workouts of your life. Your body will shake, your muscles will scream, and you will sweat….ALOT!

But not to worry, upbeat music will spike your energy, your team will motivate you, and your coach will cheer you on before, during, and after class.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE WORKOUT

COREOLOGY combines all elements of physical fitness not just in one session, but in each and every move.  The intent of the workout is to fatigue your slow twitch (ST) muscle fibers, the ones that lengthen your body and produce energy by converting fats into energy aerobically, to failure so they can rebuild leaner and stronger.

CARDIORESPIRATORY ENDURANCE:

Each class consists of 50 minutes of constant, controlled movements that will keep your heart rate elevated, increasing your cardio endurance.

MUSCULAR STRENGTH:

The key to making your muscles stronger is working them against resistance. The MegaFormer™ allows your body to train in counter-resistance to improve muscular strength.

MUSCULAR ENDURANCE:

Muscular endurance is the ability of the muscle to continue to perform without fatigue, but in order to perform without fatigue; you need to train the muscles to reach failure. At COREOLOGY we train the muscles to a threshold of intensity that will stimulate this fatigue.

BODY COMPOSITION:

Our classes promote fat loss and lean muscle growth to improve total body composition.

FLEXIBILITY:

Every exercise in each class works the muscle in its length, which improves flexibility, corrects postures and alignments, and prevents injuries.

CORE STRENGTH AND BALANCE:

The torso is the body’s center of power. The more strength and stability in your core, the better chances you will have in preventing injuries and maintaining good alignment and posture. COREOLOGY focuses heavily on core-stabilizing exercises and maintaining good form throughout each and every move.
